Nicky's "disappointed":

Alabama not happy with start time due to heat

"We are disappointed that our game against Southern Miss has been selected as a daytime kickoff at home," ..." There have been a number of conversations with our conference office, and they also recognize the challenges these kick times present for our student-athletes and fans."

This was brought up on the Frogs o' War podcast too.  They pointed out that Bama has played precisely two true OOC road games during Saban's entire tenure at Bama.  The sense of entitlement is strong in Tuscaloosa ...

And those two road games were Duke in 2010 and Penn State in 2011.  Basically, every single year, Alabama plays 7 home games, 4 road games, and a neutral site game during the regular season.

Alabama has tried to entice students into staying longer by using a phone application that tracks location and rewards Tide Loyalty Points: 100 per game for attending a home football game and 250 per game for staying all four quarters. The points can be used toward priority access to student football tickets.

Interesting approach.  Seems like even the biggest of big dogs has a problem with this.

You are an evil hombre, Senor. Those things cost me big time in last week's Pick'em!

How bad is Boston College? Kansas leads 21-17 late in the 2nd quarter.

BC regains the lead, 24-21, but KU breaks a 82 yard run to the 3 yard line. 2nd & goal with 13 seconds left in the half. 3rd & goal, 10 seconds.

With 5 seconds left... Touchdown! Extra point is good - 28-24, Kansas lead. Halftime.

Mack Brown doesn't get his one second this time - unlike a few years ago.

Whoever picked the under on the Washington St Houston game is feeling pretty good.  Mid 2nd and only 7-0.  Houston has the 7.

74 BTW...

BC is the most inconsistent (least consistent?) team in CFB. It's been this way since Matt Ryan left.
