According to the Startlegram:

Freshman defensive tackle Karter Johnson is not with the team for the time being, a source confirmed. Johnson remains on the roster, but it’s possible he may not return. Johnson was the highest-rated defensive player of the 2019 recruiting class.

TCU gets fined for rushing the field???

https://big12sports.com/news/2019/10/30/football-big-12-sanctions-kansas-k-state-and-tcu-for-field-storming-incidents.aspx?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf

the Conference has issued public reprimands for the University of Kansas, Kansas State University and Texas Christian University for the handling of field storming incidents at the conclusion of home football contests this past Saturday.  Additionally, both K-State and TCU have been levied $25,000 fines.

But oddly, not KU. Guess it’s just frowned upon to beat UT and OU.

More accurate to say we were fined for not providing the visiting team a secure path off the field. Not a bad policy, IMO. We wouldn't want our players to have to push through a crowd of opposing students after a loss.

So apparently Justin Rodgers is transferring, no word as of where yet...

I was wondering how this was going to play out with Max and the rest of the crowded QB room.

OC Willie Taggart

He is an offensive genius that is very detail orientated and demands the highest level of preparation and execution out of his teams....

The Frogs are prominently discussed in this article from Bill Connolly.  Not sure I buy the overall premise that strong defense has currently become an "underdog" strategy.  I can get behind the premise that there is a cyclical "cat-and-mouse" between offensive-minded and defensive-minded coaches.  But if the TCUs and Baylors of the world used offense to keep up with the big boys 5-10 years ago, what changed in the meantime?  We all know that LRBW2XAPCotYHCGMFP has never ceased to be defensive minded even when offensive talent and good coaching/scheming meant they put up big points at certain stretches.  Baylor changed because they changed coaches ... you think if Man of God and Rape Enabler Art Briles were still at the helm that Baylor wouldn't still be an offense-first team?

Anyway, chew on this: https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/28053990/what-lsu-alabama-baylor-tcu-showed-us-week-11-more
