But, we're the only one with a D player.

Ex-TCU DE L.J. Collier selected by Seattle Seahawks with 29th overall pick in NFL draft

Collier is the first TCU defensive end to be drafted since April 2013, when Stansly Maponga was selected by the Atlanta Falcons in the fifth round. Collier's selection at No. 29 makes him the highest drafted TCU defensive lineman of the Gary Patterson era, besting Jerry Hughes at No. 31 in 2010.

Come the end of the draft Saturday night, Collier likely won't be the only TCU defensive end to hear his name called in Nashville. Ben Banogu -- a former product of nearby Prosper High School - has been projected as a consensus mid-round pick in the draft after posting a second-consecutive 55-tackle season for the Horned Frogs in 2018.

If Banogu joins Collier, it will be a milestone of sorts for TCU. Though the defensive line has historically been an area of strength for the Horned Frogs under Gary Patterson, TCU has only seen multiple defensive lineman selected in the same draft once during his lengthy tenure -- way back in 2001 when Patterson was only five months into his tenure as head coach. Defensive end Aaron Schobel and defensive tackle Shawn Worthen were both drafted that April.

Hopefully Banogu has a better go in Indy than the last TCU DE drafted by them ...

I love that the Colts TRADED UP to get Banogu. Excellent choice.

Also love that TCU has had TWO DEs picked in the first two days and the Big 12's D Lineman of the Year, nor anyone else from UT, has had a jingle yet.

Right in front of him (round 5, number 22) was Dylan Mack.  I wonder where Mack would have gone if he had chose TCU?

He might wonder that, as well.

I'm getting discouraged for Ty. They're into the 6th round already and LBs have been going like hotcakes, even a kid from Tarleton State! 😬

The Colts GM is considered one of the best if not the best in the NFL FWIW
