-Blake Nowell and Ardmore Plainview play against Lincoln Christian for the 3A title

-Dominic Richardson and Oklahoma City Bishop McGuinness play something called Carl Albert for the 5A title

New offer out to Khari Coleman - a 6'1", 215-lb three-star defensive end out of New Orleans.

He's currently committed to Kansas, but his 247 crystal ball predictions indicate he's strongly considering SMU as well.  Other offers from Tennessee and Vanderbilt.

New offer out to Jamoi Hodge - a 6'2", 225-lb three-star linebacker from Independence CC in Kansas, originally from North Carolina.

He decommitted from Nebraska earlier this month, and also has offers from Louisville, Arizona and SMU.  Was a full academic qualifier out of high school, so he'd have four years to play three.

A few other names to keep an eye on:

Ja'Khi Douglas - a 5'9", 187-lb four-star receiver from Houma, LA.  He visited TCU this past weekend and tweeted out some pictures.  He's currently committed to Florida State and has an offer list a mile long that includes Alabama, LSU, Auburn, Georgia, Florida, Michigan, Tennessee, Miami, Kentucky, Louisville, etc, etc.

Tee Denson - a 6'1", 172-lb three-star corner from Atlanta.  He has offers from Pitt, Virginia Tech, Michigan State, Kansas State, Minnesota and Georgia Tech among others.  He's set to announce his commitment this coming weekend, and there's been an uptick in TCU-related twitter activity for him lately.  Just this morning, Ar'Darius Washington tweeted at him.

Jimari Butler - a 6'5", 217-lb three-star defensive end from Mobile, AL.  He just recently decommited from Tennessee, and is said to be choosing between TCU and Nebraska.  Other offers include Ole Miss, Maryland, Illinois and Kansas.

The black hole of transfer makes it hard to really be excited about any commitments, and maybe even LOIs....The old rock ballad..."We may never pass this way again...." by Crosby Stills and Nash....

Sounds like a swing and a miss for the Frogs on these three.  Douglas staying firm with the 'Noles, Denson committed to Kansas State and Butler committed to Nebraska.

Word on the street is we're going to lose Jimmy Holiday and Danny Gray.

The names I'm keeping an eye on the closest as potential flips to TCU are Khari Coleman (currently committed to Kansas) and Bud Clark (UVA).

Does the Johnson commit push out the WRs?

Holiday signed with Tennessee. Losing Gray would hurt really bad.

Sorrells is officially signed.  He becomes the 6th 4-star recruit of this class.

Coleman should be announcing his decision very soon, and then we'll just be waiting on Bailey.

Hope Bailey comes in. We need a big class of OL. We need to go shopping the transfers for a 2020 impact WR now too.

According to posts on other forums, Tyler Bailey has a shoulder injury and will not play next year. He is expected to gray shirt, meaning he will receive his scholarship next year. He may enroll as a walkon while doing rehab.

Keep an eye on Bailey.  While I don't doubt that his shoulder is hurt and that the injury/rehab may affect his timeline, I wouldn't be surprised to see Thomsen try to get him to Tallahassee.

Now, that would just be plain wrong for him to do. I don't care if it's every man for himself in CFB or not.
