Too early to start a 2018-19 Basketball thread?

Samuel is a dude. Bane is a top 50 college player. A Rob is a A+ point guard. If Noi and Fisher can get right. Watch out. We could make a run.

Just a reminder how much our basketball recruiting has jumped to another level:

P.J. Fuller is the 2nd highest ranked recruit ever for TCU. Francisco is the 6th highest. And Smith is the 7th highest.

This class ranks #16 in the nation. That's good for #4 in the conference. BUT, on a average rank basis, TCU ranks #2 in conference.

Two top 100 players and a 3rd that's top 150.  Not too shabby.  Fuller and Farabello are the 6th best players at their position in the '19 class.

CJD says Fisher and Noi should both see playing time tonight.

“I’m feeling really good about Jaylen as far as playing tomorrow,” said Dixon. “He practiced well the past couple of days and he’s been practicing with us for about 10 days now. Same thing with Kouat. I anticipate both of them being there.”

Just in time. 5-6 weeks before conference play. Both of them are needed badly.

I've read elsewhere that Fisher has been cleared by the doctors for a while, but just hasn't felt (perhaps mentally) that he was ready to play yet. After a couple of serious injuries that have knocked him out of so much playing time, nobody could blame him. Who would want to face that again?

Frogs have allowed Lipscomb to tighten it back up.

And all of a sudden, we can’t buy a basket while Lipscomb’s Matthews gets hot.
