That is... very weird...

Quite possibly the strangest thing I've ever seen.

Was this before he announced he was running for president?

...because he looks like Andrew Yang...

You learn something new every day.

While I previously knew that Matt Rhule played for Jerry Sandusky at Penn State, today I learned that his dad worked for Sandusky's charity organization, The Second Mile.

LINK.

I heard he entered the charity through the back-door...

Yet another coaching change and the resulting instability at Baylor will be good for TCU's chances.  I didn't actually think he was leaving but I guess money talks and he wasn't all that confident about Baylor going forward.  There's only one direction Baylor is headed next year and that's downward no matter who they hire.

Even he is smart enough to realize they had a lucky horseshoe shoved up their backside this year. His value had peaked.

I don't care for the guy one bit, but I don't blame him for grasping the chance to get out of Waco, either. Even Mentone has more positives and more to offer.

7 years, $60 million. Damn, I shoulda been a football coach.

Plus, they have to pay out his Baylor contract. I've read that's about $38M.

He's been talking about the NFL since he got to Baylor!

Well, heck, I was way off.

Rhule made $4.1 million this season as Baylor's coach. The Panthers paid a $6 million buyout to hire their new head coach, league sources told Schefter.

Well I think Baylor gets that money.

The coach gets that money when they get fired.
