TGBDS: Epic Randomness

Don't forget that US-69/169 shoots straight north of Tulsa into KS (Coffeyville)...

After Tulsa, we'll be headed to Omaha, so I guess we'd take that up to I 35?

When you get close to Tulsa approaching from the south, get on the Creek Turnpike East and follow it around the bottom of Tulsa.  Then, bear left and get on US-169 North.  You can ride that all the way up to Kansas City (BTW, that's the route KU students from Tulsa use to commute to/from); at Kansas City you get on I-29 for the rest of the way to Omaha.

If you drove to Tulsa, you'd have to veer about 90 miles west to pick up I-35 (north of Perry) to go north to Wichita and beyond.

Caveat:  I'm a big fan/follower of blue highways http://www.amazon.com/Blue-Highways-Journey-into-America/dp/0316353299

Stupid android. I try to give bean town a positive rep and end up giving 71 a negative.

Now I only have 997 reps left for the day.

I'm so proud of myself.

The pull-start mechanism on my lawn mower broke...and I ordered a replacement part...installed it...and it works!

You are talking about the pull chord that requires a simple knot to install?

So the mother-in-law is down at the AT&T store getting her first smartphone. Seriously, both moms decide to do this the same week? She has called from the store four times. So far.

Always? Nuts add a salty crunch.

Don't like 'em. I like my baked goods soft and lumpy, the way I like my women

In cookies? They're okay. In ice cream? I'm love em.

I only really tolerate them in chocolate, to be honest.

No women with nuts? What about that "girl" in Tijuana?

Too hard and cold in ice cream. They offend my sensitive teeth

No.  The entire assembly that does all the magical mechanical stuff between the cord and the engine starting.
