They could have worn the sharpest uniforms ever seen and I would have posted the same gif.

Ok, the TCU fan was being a jackass but the correct response to that is to move on and take your L, not to stop and engage with him. Agree or disagree?

First impressions. Bane and Samuel looked in mid season form. Grayer looks like a key player. Farabello ran the point well but gonna have to look to score some. Dennis has a few mistakes but I think will be good. Smith started but only played a little- not sure why. Was looking forward to seeing him more. Fuller looked nervous. Nembhard didn’t shoot well from 3 but was real active and seemed more in control than last year. Barlow played a little and didn’t do much. As expected looks like we will lean heavily on Bane and Samuel this year. Grayer and Dennis are nice additions and should shoulder some of the scoring load. Looks like others mostly will be role players at this point.

According to a poster on HFB, Duggan has practiced and will play per GP at the Frog Club Lunch. We'll see if he's blowing smoke for Baylor consumption. Appears like it may have been a dislocation rather than a fracture or maybe if it's a fracture, it's not all the way through? Beats me but if he plays, I'll feel much better about a W.

The early results from Cancun are in for this morning and both Nick Chappell and Jerry Lopez won their singles matches and have advanced to the semis. Gerardo won easily; 2 and 3 over Reis di Silva. For Nick, it was a lot tougher against Khan (who, as everyone knows, was/will be Kirk's greatest adversary after being awakened on the Botany Bay after being placed in suspended animation following the 21st century Eugenics Wars) - Nick started slowly and lost the first set 4-6, but came back to win 7-5 (fighting from down a break and breaking in the final game at love), and 6-3 in the 3rd.

Real quick update after last night's season-opener: -Bane passed Junior Blount and Marcus Shropshire on the career three pointers made list, is now #9 all-time and needs 16 to pass Malcolm Johnson for #8. -Samuel passed Damion Walker and Marlon Dumont on the career blocks list, is now tied with Dennis Davis for #8 all-time and needs 5 to pass Craig Sibley for #7

At Newport Beach in the ITA Nationals, Gray and Fearnley lost in doubles today to Aubone/Hannestad in a hotly-contested match 6-2, 6-7 (1-7), 9-11, so that's it for the Frogs in doubles there. Ali, however, is still alive in singles and he'll play tomorrow (presumably) although I can't figure out who his opponent will be as yet. At Cancun, Nick Chappell and Ajeet Rai retired in doubles after trailing 1-2 in the first set. Not sure why. But Nick is scheduled to play in the singles tomorrow against Zane Khan (ATP#1279). And Gerardo Lopez Villasenor will play Joao Lucas Reis di Silva (ATP#607). Both are in the quarters. And in Malibu, Widow and Felix Corwin won their doubles match against Altamirano/Song 2 and 3. They will now play Redlicki/Rapp tomorrow - also in the quarters.

LOL, I did just fine. Though I think we have forever disproven that the amount of wine I drink has any correlation to a Frogs win. The color of everyone's underwear may still be a deciding factor, however....

Gates versus Warren is interesting. Warren wants a 6% wealth tax and 40% capital gains rate. Using Gates as an example $107 billion in wealth: $107 billion at 6% is a $6.42 billion wealth tax bill. He has to sell $10.7 billion to raise $6.42 billion after capital gains tax (assuming basis is $0). Therefore he would need a 10% return on assets just to break even. Questions: Who is going to buy $10.7 billion of his assets? China? Russia? A 10% market order to sell will drop his overall wealth considerably. Is his wealth calculated before or after he liquidates? What is the value of non-marketable securities and investments? Would he have to pay for a valuation every year to comply with the tax calculation? How much would that cost? At what point does he pack up and move to Puerto Rico?

Purple, black, purple has won some of our biggest games. Rose Bowl, Alamo Bowl vs Stanford, 2008 Poinsettia Bowl over an undefeated Boise State, beat OU in 2014, beat Baylor in the rain game in 2015. Purple, Black, Purple has some good juju.

Probably the most important game of the season in regards to self-esteem on the part of the program, players, and fans....And I have to wait on FedEx to deliver and sign for it....No window given....I'll have to watch on TV....If it's not a good day, I can turn it off....If it's a good day, I'll really wish I were there.... I'm thinking a squeaker, possibly won by Song, or a blowout by the bad people....I just don't thing we have the firepower to put the game away like we would like to....

We need some humor in here! 😆😆 These are from the book "Disorder in the American Courts" and are from actual court testimonies. They were taken down word for word by court reporters. ATTORNEY: What was the first thing your husband said to you that morning? WITNESS: He said, 'Where am I, Cathy?' ATTORNEY: And why did that upset you? WITNESS: My name is Susan! _______________________________ ATTORNEY: What gear were you in at the moment of the impact? WITNESS: Gucci sweats and Reeboks. ____________________________________________ ATTORNEY: Are you sexually active? WITNESS: No, I just lie there. ____________________________________________ ATTORNEY: What is your date of birth? WITNESS: July 18th. ATTORNEY: What year? WITNESS: Every year. _____________________________________ ATTORNEY: How old is your son, the one living with you? WITNESS: Thirty-eight or thirty-five, I can't remember which. ATTORNEY: How long has he lived with you? WITNESS: Forty-five years. _________________________________ ATTORNEY: This myasthenia gravis, does it affect your memory at all? WITNESS: Yes. ATTORNEY: And in what ways does it affect your memory? WITNESS: I forget.. ATTORNEY: You forget? Can you give us an example of something you forgot? ___________________________________________ ATTORNEY: Now doctor, isn't it true that when a person dies in his sleep, he doesn't know about it until the next morning? WITNESS: Did you actually pass the bar exam? ____________________________________ ATTORNEY: The youngest son, the 20-year-old, how old is he? WITNESS: He's 20, much like your IQ. ___________________________________________ ATTORNEY: Were you present when your picture was taken? WITNESS: Are you shitting me? _________________________________________ ATTORNEY: So the date of conception (of the baby) was August 8th? WITNESS: Yes. ATTORNEY: And what were you doing at that time? WITNESS: Seriously? ____________________________________________ ATTORNEY: She had three children , right? WITNESS: Yes. ATTORNEY: How many were boys? WITNESS: None. ATTORNEY: Were there any girls? WITNESS: Your Honor, I think I need a different attorney. Can I get a new attorney? ____________________________________________ ATTORNEY: How was your first marriage terminated? WITNESS: By death.. ATTORNEY: And by whose death was it terminated? WITNESS: Take a guess. ___________________________________________ ATTORNEY: Can you describe the individual? WITNESS: He was about medium height and had a beard ATTORNEY: Was this a male or a female? WITNESS: Unless the Circus was in town I'm going with male. _____________________________________ ATTORNEY: Is your appearance here this morning pursuant to a deposition notice which I sent to your attorney? WITNESS: No, this is how I dress when I go to work. ______________________________________ ATTORNEY: Doctor , how many of your autopsies have you performed on dead people? WITNESS: All of them. The live ones put up too much of a fight. _________________________________________ ATTORNEY: ALL your responses MUST be oral, OK? What school did you go to? WITNESS: Oral... _________________________________________ ATTORNEY: Do you recall the time that you examined the body? WITNESS: The autopsy started around 8:30 PM ATTORNEY: And Mr. Denton was dead at the time? WITNESS: If not, he was by the time I finished. ____________________________________________ ATTORNEY: Are you qualified to give a urine sample? WITNESS: Are you qualified to ask that question? ______________________________________ And last: ATTORNEY: Doctor, before you performed the autopsy, did you check for a pulse? WITNESS: No. ATTORNEY: Did you check for blood pressure? WITNESS: No. ATTORNEY: Did you check for breathing? WITNESS: No.. ATTORNEY: So, then it is possible that the patient was alive when you began the autopsy? WITNESS: No. ATTORNEY: How can you be so sure, Doctor? WITNESS: Because his brain was sitting on my desk in a jar. ATTORNEY: I see, but could the patient have still been alive, nevertheless? WITNESS: Yes, it is possible that he could have been alive and practicing law.

If Duggan plays, I think we can win if we get takeaways and no turnovers. If Duggan doesn't play, I think we can win with takeaways and no turnovers. 22 guys out there, not just 1. I hope we get blocking like the Purdue game and interceptions like the Texas game. Regardless, it looks it will be a gorgeous fall day, the band will play, the Showgirls will be beautiful and I will be there.

I'm going to the game but I have no idea what to expect. We may win in a squeaker or we may get blown out and lose by 5 TD's. I keep telling myself that we beat them last year with the Mule at QB and that people are saying Downing is a much better passer than the Mule so we have a chance but I'm not feeling optimistic.
