Try as we might, B, we just can't play this game without Whataburger. The fast food burger scene away from Texas is wretched, at least in the PNW.

Whataburger is still the best. Wild Willy's isn't really fast food, anyway.

I was just explaining to my coworkers the other day how Texas DQs are very different from the ones in PA.  I miss the Dude ... no homo ...

DQ food outside of Texas is supplied by a totally different company. In fact,  Texas DQs are run by an entirely different organization than those outside of Texas.

That explains why The Blizzard is just a milk shake here. For obvious reasons, they don't flip the cup upside-down.

My father-in-law owned and operated the Dairy Queen in Athens for a long time.

Remember that Greek restaurant that used to be in the same building as the Pub?

That's where I had my first Gyro.  So good.

There's a great Lebanese restaurant in the 6333 (or there about) Camp Bowie shopping area called Hedary's. I went to middle school with the daughter of the family, so that tells you how long the restaurant has been there. I hope it's still open, anyway. Greek and Lebanese food is very similar. Hedary's is awesome!

I believe they are now located off Forest Park/Park Hill in that shopping center that the road divides around.

If you don't, you've got more will power (or stubborness) than me.
